Our cat Leia was groomed at Animal ark 5/13/17. Picked her up giving signs of sedation and non alert. First thing I asked when we seen her in our possession was: "Do you sedate them when handling" bc of clear signs she was not her self. After two days of odd behavior and declining health we took her to our vet and she was x rayed and had a diaphragmatic hernia and intestines were in her lungs! My cat gets groomed here occasionally and the girl who does my cat is amazing. His cut looks even and he always seems to be calm when we pick him up, so obviously she's doing something right because he hates water! Lol
We have been taking our dogs for groomimg at Animal Ark for years and we love it. This is their first boarding experience! Fingers crossed they do wonderful!!! (The dogs, of course :0)) we shall see Monday! I'm sure they'll be great!!!
Do not let the new groomer Cindy groom your precious pet. She yells at your dog and at Denny’s Dog House and Paws 4 Applause she cut deeply our poodle by his tail and he was traumatized. I personally witnessed her being rough and yelling at the dogs she groomed more than 1 time. BEWARE!!!
RecommendedTook my cocker spaniel for his first spa day ever and he loved it!!! He smells and looks like a totally different dog then he did when he went in!!! We definitely will be going back!!!! Thank you Animal Ark for taking such great care of my little man!!!
