After reading several poor reviews for Dr. Anika, I’ve realized that it is very common for this doctor’s office to not answer the phone or return phone calls. You can call 3 times in one day, and they will not answer, and very rarely return your calls after messages. One visit the receptionist gave me a very hard time about insurances, she tried to accuse me of insurance fraud because I had two insurances. In what world is having two insurances a crime? It is very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone at North AL Psychiatry and Counseling. When you finally do get someone to answer, you have to leave a message. The provider never calls you back. I attempted to reach Dr. Wilson numerous times over a 17 day period to no avail. Do not waste your time.
She is my sister's Dr, she's horrible, unprofessional, doesn't answer the phone and when someone does want return the call. Has let my sis run out of meds several times and causes bad affect to keep having to start and stop her meds! This Dr jk
I saw Dr. Wilson for 5-6 months and she kept giving me mood stabilizers and nothing was working. It was actually making me worse. I was tired of her not listening to me and her trying to diagnose me with BPD. She is also a very cold/unwelcome woman. My husband went with me for 4 out of 6 appointments and has said the same thing. I finally started seeing someone else who listens and gave me appropriate medication for depression/anxiety/adhd that is actually working and haven’t looked back.
