i went here for 2 years from 2015-2016 and it was dope. idk how it is these days but they saved my ass, Lucas Volini is the goat
Annica day treatment is horrible. I went for a year and 3 months and I got worse from when I first started. They will constantly talk about "Confidentiality" yet tell your parents everything that will %100 get you in trouble with your parents yet they won't tell your parents the important things. I had 4 suicide attempts while I was there and my therapist didn't tell my parents yet he did tell me parents about my smoking problems. The only good therapist there was Jayson please give that dude a damn raise melanie.
My time there was a VERY demeaning experience. The lead therapists, Ben and Natalie, act more like bosses than therapists, as they have extremely unrealistic expectations for client progress and get very irritated when it’s not met. They’re incredibly rude and unhelpful, which actually caused my mental health to significantly worsen after entering the program. This day treatment was a waste of time and money. Pretending to help a child and actually helping one are two different things. My child went here as a teenager and came out almost worse than when went in. I had to constantly advocate and we found out at 18 that has ADHD but never once was even discussed or identified in this program. As professionals in the field of mental health, I would expect recommendations based on behaviors noted.
