Doctor recommended oral medicine for acne, when I expressed concern about the side effects, he insisted taking birth control along with it. He tried to convince me that I shouldn’t think twice before taking birth control which did not seem sound advice coming from a doctor. He did not seem to understand that irregular periods can be a concerning side effect for someone.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Anhalt for years. He is a great dermatologist. Very experienced and knowledgeable. There is rarely a wait once you arrive at the office and staff are efficient. Classically getting through by phone can be a bit tricky but now that they have online appointment setting, it is a simple process.
Customer service is just one star. They have a requirement that new patient has to arrive 20 min earlier than the actual time of a scheduled appointment, but this rule is not being communicated at the time an appointment is scheduled. Office clerks do text this information on the day of the appointment, to unverified number, which is already too late for anyone who is working or have other appointments and meetings scheduled in advance for the same day. Dr. Anhalt. May you feel as uncomfortable reading this review as you made me feel in that room. I didn’t go to Dr. Todd Anhalt for a debate—I went to get a suspicious mole removed, per my dermatologist and PCP. I didn’t ask what he thought. Instead, after jokes about the “luxury gowns,” he snapped a photo, said it didn’t look cancerous, and refused to remove it. Then he did a head-to-toe exam I never consented to. I’m 19.
