Absolutely insane pizza but I recommend eating one slice (I ate two). The cheese is absolutely real and abundant. The only bad thing I could say is it's hard to hold because it's floppy. Quite greasy but I don't care (but you might).
Really disappointing experience overall, especially given how highly rated this place is. We’re big pizza people and have eaten at several dozen pizza places around town, across a lot of different styles. I also don’t like judging a pizza place based on slices that may have been sitting in a case for who knows how long, so we ordered a fresh whole pepperoni pizza to give it a fair shot. What a revelation! Specializing in fresh, daily special pizzas, sandwiches & italian bread items. Everything is baked fresh, with care, and on-site. The authentic cheeses and meats are sliced to order. Probably the best mortadella sandwich i've ever eaten, easily the best in Portland ( forget the swill from elephant's). Fresh baked focaccio bread stuffed with wafer thin slices of mortadella , cut tomatoes & greens, all cut to order. The same care in preparation with the thin crust specialty pizzas.
