RecommendedThis was our third year going to Angler’s Paradise to bow hunt, as always a great time was had! Mr. Don runs a first class operation from lodging to the hunting areas. We look forward to this trip every year as it is a place where you can unplug from the day to day hustle and bustle. We absolutely love this place. Great atmosphere, and tons of wildlife. The cabins are very clean and the service is impeccable. Don is a down to earth person with tons of fishing knowledge. I will be bringing my family here for years to come!
If you are tired of trying to beat other anglers to your favorite spot at the lake, this is a great place. The day we had booked just happened to be the coldest morning of the week and the fishing was tough. We were able to find a pattern and catch some fish but no personal bests were caught. I feel that the transition into colder temperatures made for a tough day so it will no affect my opinion of the lake. I plan to visit next year.
My sons and I had a blast. Caught 40 fish in a day in a half in the hot summer. Can’t wait to,see what the fall could be like here. Cabin was comfy and peaceful. We will be back for sure.
Had another great time fishing at Don’s place. If your looking for a top notch place to Bass fish, this place always produces plenty of action!!
Had a wonderful time at Mill Cabin. 4 adults stayed very comfortably in the cabin. We fished from the bank, enjoyed the screened in porch and had fun exploring the area. We found some nice morel mushrooms and saw lots of wildlife. Don is a very nice man and we will definately be back to stay longer and learn more about the area.
