I have rented a unit at Angier Mini Storage for nearly two years and unfortunately my experience has been extremely frustrating. I discovered a rat infestation after going to move a box in my unit and found my belongings shredded and damaged. Throughout 2025, I called multiple times to report the issue and request help. Told them when I put deposit down I only wanted one month. Asked about 30 day notice to get refund on deposit and they said as long as I was out before the end of the month I would get the deposit back. Did not get the deposit back after repeated calls. They always said they would get in touch with the owner and get back with me. Never did. Looks like from what I could tell it is owned by a local guy who owns a huge car dealership. Get off your keister John and get me my deposit back.
If you’re hoping to get their security deposit back don’t book with this storage unit company. I have been back & forward with this customer service trying to receive my security deposit back and I still haven’t gotten it and it’s a month later. I will never rent from them ever again!
