I was there last Saturday, May 21st. All I can say is, AWESOME!! I'm Brazilian and everytime I go to Savannah, Angel's is a mandatory stop!

If you're in Savannah, do yourself a favor and stop in to get some BBQ here. The homemade sauces (especially the spicy zog zog sauce) were so delicious. I wish they bottled and sold them so that we could have taken some back to Indianapolis with us. The owners were so great to talk with as we enjoyed our lunch. We will definitely be back next time we're in Savannah.
Angels bbq is one of those places you would never know excited if someone didn't share the secret. It's tucked away down a very tight one way alley in downtown Savannah. It's in this small quaint 18th century building. The menu is very limited but that fact doesn't make it easier to choose what to have for lunch. Simply the best. Always a treat. A completely different kind of BBQ joint in the best way possible.
Great Bbq I love all of the different sauces. They is some road construction going on in front now but you can still get there easy
