we are from central illinois and asked our waitress Mimi (who by the way, was amazing!) if they knew what a ponyshoe was. she didn't so we explained it to her. the cook came out and said he would make one. it was one of the best ponyshoes I've ever had. amazing service and food!
Of course in St. Louis you should see the arch, but more importantly you should eat at Angelo's! My husband and I were visiting from Houston and are major foodies. We ordered carry out from Angelo's. The shrimp dishes were amazing and don't even get us started on the baked ravioli! We were so impressed with this gem right by the arch! Awesome job y'all!
Excellent food, brews, and outstanding service...highly recommend.
Walked in, was seated, maybe 8 tables with +\- 15 patrons already there. A waitress walked to the table behind us 6 times, the waiter who seated us walked by 4 times, two other waiters walked by 2 times each. Got up and left. The guy who seated us asked as we left, "did anyone serve you?"... I chuckled....
Great wine, LOVED the calamari!!
