I visited the store with a group of seven. Our server was super good. He was friendly. He had jokes, and he brought the food out fast. And when the kitchen made a mistake, he owned up to it and made it right. Our table made it rain with tips for him. You can’t ask for any better service than that. Great job 1801.

Although the restaurant only had three customers yesterday afternoon, unfortunately, my prime rib was not cooked like Angells 1801 usually does it! I’m not sure how you can overcook half of a prime rib and not the other. I prefer mine medium rare but the second half was brown, and a prime rib should never be brown. The broccoli was limp, sad looking and did not taste well so I didn’t eat it. Overcooked maybe? I would’ve loved to have had the bright green broccoli shown on their website. This was our first time visiting and the service was great! Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu items. We didn’t wait long at all to be seated or to receive our entrees. The teriyaki Salmon was really good! My husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich it looked delicious but the chicken didn’t have much flavor. The menu options definitely give California Dreaming or JR Cash Vibes! We would recommend and plan to dine here again!
