After I heard they were closing, I asked my Manhattan friend to overnight 3 sandwiches 3 hours upstate to me in Saratoga Springs. I'm not in the middle of eating them meal after meal and it is bittersweet -- so incredibly tasty but sad because after 20 years of going there I'll never have a Tofu sandwich like this again. I am so incredibly sad about the fact that Angelica's Kitchen will be closing... Is there anything we can do about it? Anything? Could we do a crowdfunding campaign? Please let me know.
I just learned AK is closing.. Leslie created a beautiful community. So much heart went into the whole project. One felt the love as soon as one walked in the door, with each bite of the food.
I love their Kale Salad! They will be missed! Peace!
