Not just another dollar amount I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Barnes for several years now. He actually put my dog to sleep after she had a long battle with kidney dicease. I have no idiea why anyone would write such a harsh comment like the one below, without actual proof. Dr. Barnes has been nothing but respectful to me the dog owner, aswell as very gentle to my dogs. I would recommend this Dr. anyone who actual wants to be treated with patience and respect and not another dollar amount.
Dr. Barnes is compassionate My 16 year old dalmation has been suffering from a variety of ailments. I have had to board him here and he has required a variety of treatments. When I call to check on him, the staff has been so helpful and I sense they have taken very good care of him. Dr. Barnes has told me my beautiful dog is on "bonus time" and should have died long ago - yet, Dr. Barnes has helped me provide a comfortable life for my dog. No (doggie) bones about it! No nonsense when I went to get my 6 month old cat neutered. Dr. Barns went out of his way to recommend that I wait to neuter my cat until he was old enough to minimize the risk of urinary tract infections as a side-effect. The staff did not tack on garbage fees (like exam charge, boarding fees for the day, etc.) or try to sell me on anything I didn't need (unlike my experience at other vets). We saw the younger Doctor Barnes and she was amazing with out dog. He was not nervous at all and she did surgery to repair his ear. Very compassionate and professional
