Dr. Angela Marshall Olson is a wonderful human and a talented physician. Unfortunately, after 7+ years as my primary care provider she’s suddenly out of network for me due to the legacy vs BCBS contract drama. It was good while it lasted, I wish her all the best!
It took me YEARS when I moved to Portland from Chicago to find a competent, knowledgeable, caring doctor whom I trusted. Dr. Olson IS that doctor!! She's incredible: she listens and discusses things thoroughly and carefully, is sensitive, and is SO well-read. Dr Marshall Olson is extremely knowledgeable and a great listener. She listened to my main concerns and most concerning symptoms and instantly started coming up with treatment plans and the most strategic ways to start tackling things. She also gave me space to talk and didn’t rush me or invalidate me. I also felt that I could trust her treatment plans because she explains very clearly and thoroughly her thought process behind why she feels it will be help. Dr Marshall-Olsen is the most thoughtful, thorough and kind primary care physician. Our family could not recommend her more highly.
Dr. Angela was my PCP while I had cancer, and she helped me navigate the confusing and scary journey with compassionate care. She (and her office) were so helpful and kind in assisting me with my FMLA paperwork so I could take the time I needed to heal. She's the best primary doctor I've worked with and am really thankful to have had her when I did. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality care.
