Angela Oakley is very dismissive towards her patients. I went into her Gavlin Peak office with my mother who was complaining of severe weakness in her legs, and could barley walk. Angela told my mother that she was imaging her own pain and that her symptoms didn't seem serious enough for her to be concerned. She rudely said she would refer her to a neurologist, and said, "What do you want me to do?" The whole time she was saying this she was incredibly rude and almost aggressive towards my mother. Angela Oakley is not only the best provider I’ve ever had, but she is an amazing human being. She has always taken such good care of me. When I had an appointment with Angela, I felt like I was her only patient of the day because she was never in a rush to push me out the door, which is unheard of anymore these days. I felt like I was in the best of hands under her care. She discovered my heart block, helped me with an ongoing ear ache and so much more. Angela doesn’t appear to care about her patients. She’s Not personable at all, very cold and almost rude. I had a CT done after she referred me to a Urologist. After I read my own results there was an incidental aneurysm reported that was very concerning. I sent Angela a personal message through “My Chart” to ask her if she read my CT report and what I should do. I never heard back from her. I received a message from her medical assistant instead saying she would refer me to a surgeon and I never heard back from their office... read more
