I am 71, I have never gotten the correct prescription from any optometrist I have ever seen in the last ten years and I have seen many. I told my son I could find one that the prescription was correct, they said I just had to get used to the new glasses. He said he had the same problem but this new one worked. Found out he had a problem that needed to be corrected. So I went to her and it is not close, but worth the trip. Wanted a basic eye exam covered by my insurance, Medicare. Prior to my visit, I was not informed of potential incurring costs not covered by my insurance, and specifically. I wanted my prescription for my contacts and glasses, and purchase my own opticals online. I was given a pair of contacts to put on, according to the individual, that was $100.
