This doctor is Very impersonal. Appointments were always TOO FAST and she seems not to care at all about me as a patient during my whole pregnancy. Postpartum visit was less than 5 min and the pelvic exam was TOO FAST. I would not recommend her to anybody.
I had a bad experience with Dr. McElwee. I had an ultrasound to check for fibroids and came back in to get the results. As I was checking in she was just arriving for the day and I didn't wait long to see her. It was obvious she hadn't looked at my results beyond a quick glance and she advised me to have a myomectomy without really knowing anything about me or my condition.
