Amazing views, premium sites, clean bathroom and probably more than I imagined that I didn’t get to take advantage of, like trails and other viewing areas.
No hotels, no restaurants, just nature. If you want a quick picture- this works If you want to hit a 20 minute trail with good views - this works All day hiking - yes, this works Want to camp out - this also works There's a few people here. Can't say they're homeless because they've made a tent in a park be their home. We spoke to a few and they were all kind - just good to be aware ahead of time
The best free camp I've stayed in! Beautiful views, there's a little trail along the rim worth checking out. Access is near the largest picnic Pavillion at the tip of the loop.
Absolutely beautiful! I had no idea this place was just 20 minutes from my house. Until my son came to visit from California, and he wanted to go visit Angels Peak, and he invited us. I'm like, I don't feel like traveling so far. He says, "mom, You're just 20 minutes from Angels Peak." 😮🤔It was beautiful & amazing!
Not FHU , just barebones with a public toilet. The bathrooms are very very clean, saw young lady taking care of them this morning. Some sites have covered picnic areas and a few have amazing views. I was near the very corner at the end , loved it
