I just wasted 4 months trying to work with Angel Oak Home Loans. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. You must call them because they will forget about you if you are waiting on a decision from underwriting. I called after waiting over a month. My mortgage rep did not remember me. I had to resubmit bank statements because it had been so long the system locked her out. I called today and was told I had been emailed 6 days prior with a denial. NEVER got any email!!! RUN RUN MISLEADING WILL LIE TO CLOSE A LOSN THAT NEVER WILL GET CLOSED
Angel Oaks has exhibited the worst customer service in closing a home loan for my family. I have had to change my close date four times due to the utter incompetence of the lenders/underwriters. They were still verifying employment the day before our close date! We even reached to the Executive board within the company and was only met with false promises and lies. I will never use this company again and would never refer them to family, friends or strangers.
