I’m from Toronto spending the holidays in The Soo. I broke a nail, so I went to Angels for a repair. She put the wrong tip on and tried to fix it by piling it up with acrylic. I asked her to fix it, which she did grumpily. Then she shaped it. Asked her if I could shape my nail the way I like it and she got mad and told me to leave. I laughed at her and said ok bye. I walked in with so much hope hearing from a friend that they can do designs… and walking out with nothing I asked for. I called in a day before for two bio gel sets and one pedicure, when I walked in I had to wait for my sister to be done her pedicure (I did not mind). My nails turned out amazing, but the experience was not. By the end of my appointment, one of his coworkers sitting beside me told me I “need to get my life together” and that I should “figure it out before I come there.” As someone who only gets their nails done for very special occasions and needs some extra assistance, this was incredibly upsetting.
