Dr. Aney may not be for everyone due to his sense of humor. However, he is the best psychiatrist I have had and I’ve seen him for 7-8 years. Dr. Aney listens, and is very straight to the point, and holds you accountable. He is understanding and very realistic, he listens to my concerns and takes them into account. He worked with me through a lot to find the right regiment and I can’t recommend him, and his office as a whole (I have spoken to each of the doctors when an emergency arrived), enough.
Working in healthcare is truly a thankless job! Dr. Aney is EXCELLENT!!! I have been a patient of his for over 16 years and I am so fortunate that he still sees me. He's professional and he doesn't sugarcoat things, he gets directly to the point while still showing compassion. I've worked in healthcare for a long time and its hard. People are leaving healthcare jobs all the time because of being overworked and treated poorly. Thanks for 'hanging in' there Dr. ANEY.
Smart and well-educated. Is flexible, patient, and understanding
If you are looking for an empathic Psychiatrist that will listen to you and take your concerns seriously, I strongly suggest you find another Doctor. I believe Dr Aney did not prescribe the correct medication and didn't consider that the medication was making my condition worse. I left and found another doctor that changed my medications completely and I feel better than ever. I am so glad I did not give up!
