I’m very disappointed with Anesthesiology Consultants of Marin. Prior to my surgery, I was never provided a Good Faith Estimate as required by law. I asked about the billing in advance, and no clear information was shared with me. Weeks after my procedure, I received a surprise bill from this provider — something I was not expecting and had no opportunity to prepare for. I’m literally going through what the other person posted about being overcharged and not being charged the correct amounts before surgery. I’m also paying to avoid any penalties on my credit report but this is absolutely ridiculous. I will never do any sort of business with them ever again!!!

We would give this practice 0 stars if we could this review pertains to their fraudulent billing practices. We were told by both the surgeon and surgery center that the anesthesia cost would be $400. We paid it along with the surgeon and surgery center’s fees prior to surgery. Then we received a bill for $575. When we inquired, we were told that the surgery took longer. The surgery did NOT take any longer than what we were originally told. Neither the surgeon or surgery center charged us more for this alleged longer surgery.... read more
