Never received a bill- sent me straight to collection agency. I even met with them the week before my surgery to pay all my deductable. Its 8 months later and still not resolved with insurance company.
Its hard to say if an anesthetist has done a good job or not. I guess if you went to sleep, then woke back up, then you could conclude that they did. However the charges are absolutely outrageous. I saw two doctors and my procedure was done at a surgical center and the charge for the anesthesia was higher than the other three combined. Acknowledging that doctors should be rewarded with a reasonable salary for the years they studies, this is excessive. I would suggest that if you're going to have surgery.
