Good pizza is extremely hard to come by down here in the DC area. I will eat most pizza but I'm usually disappointed. I grew up in northern NJ and pizza is in a completely different league in the NY tri-state area. However, today's slices at Andy's not only surpassed my expectations, i'd also say it belongs in the ranks of great pizza. The crust was airy, crispy, and chewy.
