I was diagnosed with achalasia within a few weeks of seeing Dr. Koo. He named it as a possibility from our very first encounter. He quickly got me in for further testing. I feel incredibly lucky as many people with this disorder often are misdiagnosed with GERD for years. Dr. Koo is extremely knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend him. I am now 6 months post op and feel great, thanks to his quick diagnosis!
