After Dr Chan's procedure, it seems silly that a root canal is the stereotypical dreaded thing to avoid. The only uncomfortable aspect of mine was the need to keep my jaw open and that was minor. I told the staff it was "almost fun."

Having a root canal sucks and is no fun, UNLESS you have Dr Chan do it. I can’t say enough good words about this man. I have had several root canals done before and they were painful. I felt like I was in a production line to be quite honest with you with the others. I had several people I work with give high regards to Dr Chan and now I see why. He was FANTASTIC. Best root canal treatment I have ever received! No pain, not even during the novacain. Gave a wonderful consultation and explained everything to a T. Had a gentle touch and a great sense of humor. I will definitely be back for any future root canals.

Dr. Chan did a root canal today and I'm feeling so much better. He was so caring and made sure I understood everything he was about to do. He explained all possibilities of what could happen, explained what he was doing as he did it,and answered all my questions. He made sure I knew that I could call him anytime if I experienced any problems. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Chan and his staff were very friendly and courteous and explained the root canal process thoroughly, all while making ke feel very comfortable.

VERY INFORMATIVE, SPENT ALONG TIME EXPLAINING AND GIVING ME OPTIONS. EVERYONE AT THE OFFICE IS FRIENDLY. I WISH HE WAS A GENERAL DENTIST, HE IS EXCEPTIONAL.HE STAYS ON TIME, I WAS SEATED IMMEDIATELY.

Congrats to Diane at Dr. Chan's office for being the big winner of the Under Armour HealthBox from the Iowa Dental Association meeting this May! It took me a little while to deliver it, but better late than never.

This is in response to comments made by Scott Foreman. I understand people have the right to comment on whatever situations they experience, but please get the facts correct. We saw this patient, who was referred to us from a general dentist for a consultation for approximately 45 minutes. We evaluated the tooth and the long-term prognosis.
