The best place in town! If you want a professional timely eye exam with a doctor who cares and not shuffled room to room like some other places in town, this is your place. Ignore the only negative review by some over baring mother whose daughter I feel so sorry for. This is a professional staff that knows what they are doing from start to finish.
When I visited for my appointment this past December, I was told there was no copay, and I was led to believe they accepted the EyeMed coverage that I have through my employer. When I returned to pick up my contacts, I was even told that everything was completely covered by my vision coverage and I owed nothing. Be sure to help Heather do her job by asking her to verify your insurance before getting your exam done. My daughter has been a client for over 10 years and had an appointment this morning. Heather didn't mention anything about insurance or collect a copay before the exam but after the exam informed my daughter that they don't take her new insurance (EyeMed, which is proudly displayed on Dr. Backus' website). The young lady that did my tests was fantastic and super approachable. Dr. Backus was very helpful with providing information on my exam and things to consider. The young ladies helping me pick out my frames were simply the best! Recommend all day every day!
