Dr. Shaw has been a terrific doctor, very responsive and knowledgeable. He listened. Erica is a gift to the practice and I appreciate all that has been done for me.
I took my husband to Dr. Shaw after not being able to see Dr. Graham in a timely manner.The reason for the visit was on the recommendation of an orthopedic surgeon at Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute who confirmed my husband's elbow pain and tingling/numbness in the pinky and ring fingers was due to a nerve issue at C7-T1 per the results of the nerve conduction study (EMG) done at Jax Spine and Pain. Ordered mri for my hips and groin on but side. Decided to change to x ray to same money and not get the answer for my groin and hips and back causes me to drag my lett leg leg on the ground and my groin drag. and the the severe pain that prevent me from walking sitting squatting down wken dressing . Dr Shaw did my back surgery in 2018. I have had ZERO issues with my back since then. I see that many of these 1 star review are about the other office staff or the paperwork process - not his skills. He is an exemplary surgeon and I commend him for the active lifestyle he gave me. WAY better than the cane/wheelchairs I was using when my back was so bad. Dr Shaw, keep doing what you are doing. You do great work!!!
So I fractured my spine on June 19th of all things playing pickleball. I still have as broke back as 3 months ago. I have a job to do. I had a week that I could not walk put socks on get in and out of bed that came out randomly after 6 weeks. They are acting like this is normal and sent me to PT.
