Dr. Schiffman was my doctor for 2 years and was very kind and helpful. I had to switch due to insurance changes but I'd go back in heartbeat.
My son suffers major depression, & is on the autism spectrum/sensory processing dysfunction. He is adult. We contacted this office, & were told he knew about this subject. Does NOT know a thing about ASD/SPD. He told my son he isn't really that depressed, after my son TOLD HIM. He focused on the fact he is trans. IF he doesn't like LGBT, then state it prior. IT IS is NOT the cause of the depression. The ASD/SPD is. 1st a psych is to LISTEN, he does NOT. total waste of cash. Enjoy it "dr".
I have been a patient for more than 7 years. Dr. Schifffman has helped me through many tough times. He squeezes me in if necessary. I have PTSD and depression and am eligible for VA care. Dr. Schiffman is heads and shoulders above the VA clowns. He has helped me trough the loss of my wife of 47 years as well as my other issues. He is an exceptional Dr.
Smug and arrogant. He thought he was being funny and cute and just teasing me, but he was really just being insulting--every session.
