Great bedside manner Well, bedside manner should never be the sole contributor to a decision regarding whom to choose; however doc's manner and quiet confidence were the factors that pushed me to choosing you. Your staff is attentive and accommodating, and Dr. Amunategui is an artist wearing surgical gloves. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You run a really smooth operation. The front office is great- kind and gentle people.
Dr A is a thorough, meticulous, honest and gentle doctor. My reason for writing all this is for anyone who is frightened, as I was, and unsure of what to do when faced with skin cancer and the hole/scar it will leave, go to a plastic surgeon! Dr. Amunategui’s demeanor is flawless. Dr. Amunateguis demeanor is flawless. He is a friendly, personable, surgeon who speaks in a down to earth manner. He went over all the aspects of the surgery in detail, he was honest about what he thought I did and did not need and what to expect. He asked me a lot of questions ...rare these days! He didn't rush me and was genuinely interested in my concerns and achieving the results I was looking for.
Great doctor. I was interested in getting both upper and lower lid work done because my eyes were looking very tired, saggy and puffy and made me look kind of sad. I visited three different doctors before choosing Dr. Amunategui. So you know I put a lot of research into the procedure. Great doctor.
Only good things to say about him Last month I was diagnosed with skin cancer. The MOHS surgeon asked me if I wanted him to stitch me up, as needed, or if I had a plastic surgeon. I did not hesitate to tell him that I want to go to Dr. Amunategui (who he already knew, and had only good things to say about him). During the consultation with Dr A, he told me to come to his office immediately after my MOHS, and we would determine what needed to be done, depending on the extent of the hole left after the cancer was removed. He answered my numerous questions and even made alterative suggestions that were really helpful. This man is fantastic as were the results. Extremely kind and patient doctor Dr. Amunategui is an extremely kind and patient doctor. I went with my mother for a consultation last week. I wasn't certain about plastic surgery, in general, and so, of course, I had a myriad of questions. He took the time to answer each and every one, start to finish, and I never felt pressured nor did I feel as if he was swaying my mother in any direction. Love this office I love coming to this clinic! The receptionist and Dr. Amunategui make you feel so comfortable. For the last 3 years I have been doing botox procedure, always leave well pleased with the procedure.
