A friend recommended Dr. Lewicky when I couldn’t anymore ignore my need for cataract surgery. On my first visit the good doctor informed me that, since my situation involved astigmatism, a bit more than the basic treatment would be necessary. I would need toric lenses and laser-assisted surgery, but that this process would allow him to adjust the post-op vision to near or far or somewhere in between and what would be my preference? Dr. Lewicky is the best! He's done both my cataracts and I'm very happy. It can be a bit of a wait at his office sometimes, but he's worth it. We know someone who has worked with a lot of opthomlogists in Chicago and he thinks Dr. Lewicky is the best in Chicago. I agree.
I waited too long; and took care of people who were called after me. Last time was the worst, I waited over one and a half hour for him, to see me for less than 5 minutes, and they called me because I asked if they forgot about me, and they made me wait again in the room where he was going to take care of me. It was terrible, it’s not the first time, but this was the worst, terrible!
