I ended up being diagnosed with GFAP auto immune encephalitis. She told me I had complex migraine and sent me home to die. Her lack caused so much destruction with her lack of experience and misdiagnosis.
Very insensitive and insulting and inconsiderate to my grandmother.Dismissed her extreme nerve pain and went on a power trip about getting brain and neck scans even though other doctors agreed it was needed.Was aggressive with physical tests and made my grandmother cry and she is not a cryer she didn't cry her whole hospital visit despite being in extreme pain until after her interaction with Dr Wang. Dr. Schim show no effort to help me out through my health problem. I strongly recommend seeing a different Doctor.
I had been suffering from Migraine with Aura and in pain almost daily. I joined a migraine support group and Dr. Schim’s name came up a few times so I knew I needed to see him. He took his time to to get to know me and within 1 month I was able to return to some of the activities I enjoyed prior to the onset of my attacks.
Top-notch doctor The only one to go to. Had migraines my whole life, I am now a headache free.
Dr. Blumenfeld is a great doctor. I had terrible migraines and thanks to his support and the care of his team, I am much better than I was a few years ago. I am grateful for his care and the excellent team working in the La Jolla office.
I have been Dr. Blumenfeld's patient for over three years. Excellent doctor and his treatment is a miracle. I have a brain injury as a result of a car accident and experienced a horrible headache 24/7 for four years until I was referred to Dr. Blumenfeld. Dr. Blumenfeld himself gets five stars. Dr. Schim is an experienced Neurologist. He has been with The Neurology Center (first in Encinitas) located in Carlsbad, CA. He is a responsible and excellent Neurologist
The office just clearly has no respect for their patients. I think the doctor has let any prestige he might have acquired over the years go to his head. He is a warped human being incapable of dealing with actual people. The other one star reviews are spot on. Unfortunately, look elsewhere if you care about the quality of your medical care and experience.
