Dr. Wright is very professional, is knowledegable and will answer any questions
My daughter went to Dr. Wright to get refill on her bipolar depression meds and see if he could recommend some new ones as these were no working well. She was very upset when she left as he told her “Why don’t you see a psychiatrist” and her response I don’t have $149 for visit as I lost my job. No reply and no refill. As my Bri was telling me the story she was in tears as she told me he didn’t even look at her once as he talked to her and prescribed meds for her IBS and out the door he went. Dr Wright is very attentive and professional. He has never rushed my visit and very freely refers patients to specialists. He is also available when needed which is important to me. His office staff at this time(12/2019) are very helpful and friendly.
Dr. Wright is the Primary Care Physician for both my husband and myself. We are both very happy with the professional care we receive from Dr. Wright. He has a caring and calm demeanor and is always professional in appearance. We've never felt rushed when in consultation with him and appreciate the fact that his staff will work you in if you have a medical emergency. His staff, too, is professional and caring. When we've needed referrals Dr. Wright's office staff is timely in addressing them.
I love Dr. Wright, but his current office staff is piss poor at best. His medical assistant is rude if you call and interrupt her day. Today I called for records to be forwarded to my Pain management clinic and RUDE doesn't even begin to describe how she spoke to me. After 5 years of going to this office, the minute all my tests are done I will be looking for a new physician. I have never had a doctors assistant talked to me like that and I certainly will not put up with it.
I have never felt so awkward with having a new patient exam than I have with this doctor. He debated the reason for kindly asking for a referral from him to another specialist and did not even suggest giving me antibiotics for a recent wound after returning from a vacation. Very impersonal and definitely has an awkward 1950s doctor ego instead of a bedside matter. I would not recommend him to family, friends, or a stranger if I had to.
Andrew Wright's office staff are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. Not only did they repeatedly charge me incorrectly but they never once returned a phone call to my insurance company when they were leaving messages to speak to someone in the office. Toni was extremely rude and insensitive to my situation and I would advise anyone who is looking for a new doctor to stay far away from Wright Family Medicine.
My wife has been suffering from internal pain and Dr Wright, or Dr Wrong, has misdiagnosed her twice, putting her on two different antibiotics and referring her to a specialist who couldn't understand why she was sent to him. We are very concerned about what is causing the pain but have not received a call back from Wright or his office in 7 days despite leaving numerous messages. He does not care enough to take 30 seconds out of his schedule to show an ounce of concern for a scared patient.
