I had cataract surgery yesterday with Dr. Salem and his entire team, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I received. Dr. Salem has performed three surgeries on my 81-year-old mother! He is beyond exceptional. He is very competent and well-mannered. He listens and cares for his patients. When I was in the hospital, the nurses assured me I was in good hands, as Dr. Salem had performed surgery on them, too. They said he's the only one I trust to do anything on my eyes. Dr. Salem was fantastic—thorough, kind, and genuinely cared about my eye health. He reviewed my past surgery, made thoughtful recommendations, and took the time to explain everything clearly. My mom had her cataract surgery with Dr. Salem last month and we are so happy with the results! Liz was so awesome and patient with us coordinating the surgery even with the last minute changes to our schedule, thank you so much! We loved the surgery center they operate out of at UH, everyone was so courteous, accommodating, and professional!
