My mom had her cataract surgery with Dr. Salem last month and we are so happy with the results! Liz was so awesome and patient with us coordinating the surgery even with the last minute changes to our schedule, thank you so much! We loved the surgery center they operate out of at UH, everyone was so courteous, accommodating, and professional! My husband, Randy Joiner, needed cataract surgery but is going through some other health challenges. Diagnostic Eye Center’s Dr. Andrew Salem and his support staff, Liz Guzman and Ryan Garcia, worked with us every step of the way to make it happen. They accommodated Randy’s schedule and worked with Randy’s other doctors. Surgery was very efficient and Dr. Salem personally called Randy after surgery late in the day to check on him. Dr Salem did my LASIK eye surgery and did a phenomenal job. He was professional, attentive, and patient throughout the process. He answered all my (many) questions, walked me through the procedure and made sure I was comfortable, and answered my questions during recovery. The entire process went smoothly and exactly as expected and the results were perfect. Could not recommend Dr Salem any more! EDIT: 1 month post op. Vision stabilized at 20/10 (noticeably better than 20/20 with my glasses)!! Absolutely incredible

If you are needing cataract surgery or any eye care needs for that matter, you will find no place better than Diagnostic Eye Center. Dr. Salem and his assistant Liz are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Dealing with eye issues is scary enough but Liz walks you through everything and explains it all in such detail.
