Andrew Hecht is the absolute worst tempered and egotistical doctor I've dealt with in my whole life. All the one star reviews on here directly correlate with my experience and couldn't be more accurate. Never go here, you deserve a doctor that will sit down and take at least 5 minutes to hear you out!
very disappointing experience at this office. I was quoted $250 out of pocket for a consultation and expected at least a non rushed discussion of my symptoms. Instead, the doctor Andrew Hecht spent literally about 2 minutes with me,asked me almost nothing and did not give me the opportunity to even explain my situation. The visit was extremely rushed. Rude staff that lies and completely does not care about people. Said on the phone they're in network, but after driving 20 miles IN TRAFFIC, they said he DOES NOT TAKE INSURANCE! I've been seeing Mt. Sinai doctors for 20 years and never had this issue. I left right away. SHAME ON HIM!!!!!
How dare a doctor who doesn’t accept insurance play a game with the price. Starts at $22000 to final price of $7000 out of pocket. Shame on him.
Dr Hecht gave me my life back. Wonderful surgeon.
