I went to St Luke's ER and quickly ended up in emergency surgery with Dr. Nowell. At first I was disappointed with his bed -side manner. The fact is, he cares about doing his job! Which afterall, is the most important thing. He's all business. When I went for my follow up where he wasn't operating I met a whole new person. I am healing well. Convinced he did a great job. I would choose him for general surgery every time!
I personally think that he was ruid. He wasn't concerned about the pain and how uncomfortable I am right now. And for him to say that I don't need to go to another surgeon because they will tell me the same thing, I never even said anything about going to another surgeon. I think he could have had better bedside manner.
