I wanted to give my review immediately after my appointment, but it was filled with emotion, and I would not have been able to give a recount of my experience objectively. I am only giving two stars for his PA (I believe that's what her position was). She was authentic and understanding. I went in to see Dr. Dold for hip pain, on recommendation from my ortho that did my MPFL knee reconstruction (because he doesn't preform hip surgeries as mine will need). Dr. Dold was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He and his assistants explained everything throughly about my knee and the surgery.
Dr. Andrew Dold Is an excellent orthopedic surgeon whom I have, and will continue to highly recommend to all my family and friends. He is kind and compassionate. His office staff are always courteous. I have had hip replacement surgery and knee replacement surgery performed by Dr. Dold and I have no complaints at all with the outcome. I want to thank Dr. Dold and all his office staff for the care they have given me.
If you want to be just another number then this is the place for you. Like an assembly line. Waited 90 minutes to get in then was seen by his army of barbie lookalikes who were short and didn't have time to listen. When I finally spoke to him briefly he had no idea the situation. Had not looked at anything. And didn't have time. Did the whole "well youre not 20 anymore" line to me. OK cool, then I'll just limp for the rest of my life. Simply put, Dold is a man god. He repaired my labrum for the second time (1st time was a different guy) and IMMEDIATELY I felt pain relief the day after surgery. Great bedside manner and front office. And unlike every other doctor in this country, these guys actually run on time!!! So yeah, Dold and Star Orthopedics are the way to go!
