He seems to get annoyed or upset when I asked for further explanations of my dad's vision. He has been putting eye drops in his eye for several months and keeps telling him 'were getting there' but I want further explanation and his response was rushed and seemed upset about my question. I just wanted to understand where we were in the process and how long more would he think it would take for my dad to see better.

Dr. Kopel has been my doctor for more than 12 years. Although I have to have my adult children drive me 3 hours to my appointments, it has been worth it. I credit Dr. Kopel and Dr. Arnoult for saving my eyesight. The staff at Houston Eye Associates are also the very BEST.

Convenient location. Have just noticed very rushed with no time to ask any questions. Told me I could go to 30 other doctors & they would say same thing

I was blind in my left eye by a blood hemorrhage and now I can see. Thanks to Dr. Kopel. He is intent on the problem(s) a patient is facing. In my case I am diabetic. He advised me to start eating right so I went to a nutritionist Amanda Compton. All I know is eating right and going to Dr Kopel for fixing my eyes has worked for me and I highly reccomend Dr Kopel

Arrogant and negligent and/or incompetent. He would barely pay any attention whilst I was explaining the issues I was visiting for. He would not provide any feedback. He would cut me short or would not heed my feedback while testing my vision. He was rushed and superficial. He performed a deep eye exam and missed the cataract that ultimately another REAL ophtalmologist quickly suspected and then detected off of the symptoms I was experiencing.

This was our first time to this office but Dr. Kopel was very honest and straight forward with our delicate situation. He was extremely professional and courteous. He and his staff conducted a very thorough eye examination on our family member. I would highly recommend him to anyone and intend on making him our regular Dr. for all our eye examinations in the near future.

Dr. Kopel has been treating my mother for macular degeneration for almost 2 years. He is the most gentle, caring doctor that you could ask for to give you an injection in your eye. His staff is professional and courteous always. I would highly recommend Dr. Kopel for your eye care.
