contacted Dr. Gasic's office to set up an appointment. I am a new patient. I was told by the receptionist TIFFANY that I needed to be referred. my insurance does not require referral's. I have had reflux disease for 20 years and was a patient of Texas Digestive Disease Consultants until I moved to east texas. Alright so my mother was seen and had a biopsy completed a month ago. We have been calling weekly trying to get the results. Each time we get told they will send a message to the provider and someone will give us a call back. It’s been a not so pleasant experience working with UT from the time we signed her into the emergency room up until it was time for her to discharge. She was in the hospital for three days before they realized “oh we should give her medication that she takes daily.” Mind you she’s an insulin diabetic. I... read more
This doctor is the worst!! I had a procedure done where biopsies were taken and I was told to see him 3 weeks later for a follow up appt. I have called and left messages for 5 days for someone to call me back with the results of the biopsies and to schedule my follow up appt. The individuals taking my messages have marked 3 messages as urgent. No one has called !! What does it take to get results and make an appt????!!!!! My husband's and I recently took our teen daughter to Dr. Gasic after a referral from her pediatrician. The waiting area was clean and spacious. Although the office was busy, everyone was kind and we didn't have to wait long to be seen. Mrs. Bonnie her nurse was very nurturing and comforting. Dr. Gasic introduced himself to myself, my husband, and daughter. He explained to us our options for pediatric intestinal issues as well as the test that were being ordered. Oh my gosh, Dr. Gasic helped save my life. Had to have emergency surgery for the removal of my gall bladder. The pain was unbearable and I just thank him so very much for his experience, kindness and professionalism!
