My friend and I booked a girls' weekend for the beginning of March 2020. However, she fell sick, and was concerned that she had coronavirus. I called the front desk and also wrote a professional and friendly email to the hotel (less than two weeks before our stay), and asked them to kindly waive our cancellation fee of one night, as my friend was worried that she had coronavirus.
