Dr. Masom was compassionate and kind; she stretched my thinking to help me identify negative patterns. She empowered me with tools and strategies to help me manage the heaviness of these times.
My counseling experience with Andrea has been wonderful; in a short time I feel like I have made a huge amount of progress in working with my anxiety and unpacking how my past has impacted me today. I've learned helpful coping skills and she has helped me reframe some unhelpful ways of thinking that have set me forward in a more positive way. For the first time in my life, I am setting healthy boundaries & feel like I can start reclaiming my time for my own!
She had great insight and tools. I liked that she used both CBT and mindfulness in her practice.
I learned things about myself and my situation that I had no idea about until Andrea brought them to light. I would highly recommend Andrea for counseling for women going through divorce or dealing with low self esteem.
There is no chance of my recommending Andrea. She violated my trust by sharing a personal letter that was addressed to only her. Our family therapy with Andrea only drove a deeper wedge between us. She chose to take sides instead of listening to both sides and helping us communicate our feelings and needs to each other in a healthy and productive way.
