Dr Assantes is by far the best pediatrician we’ve come across! The office is super clean, Patient Portal is always available which makes it so easier to ask questions, ask for referrals, etc i love it! Dr. Assantes is so patient & always makes sure we leave her office with all the information & explains everything SUPER well.
Dr. Assantes is the BEST pediatrician! She took care of me when I was younger and now I have the pleasure of bringing my baby girl to see her. She’s knowledgeable and answers every question. This is my first baby so naturally I’m worried about everything. And the office is super clean. Wait times are also super short. After checking in, I sit down for 5 minutes and then it’s already our turn. I am a big fan of UHealth and their physicians. I even see 2 different specialists myself
Avoid UM Pediatrics or Dr. Assantes at all costs. Despite being a patient for 12 years, when my autistic son urgently needed care for a fever and sore throat on a Saturday, they turned us away as walk-ins, dismissing his illness because he "didn't look sick." Despite our reminders about his autism and the potential severity of fever on his condition, they wasted time explaining their policy instead of providing basic care.
