The doctor and staff were all kind, informative and made me feel both heard and well treated.

Each time we have brought my mother to see him it has been good. This last time was by the video conference, need to improve the sound quality. But other than that it was good followup on her heart
Was having breathing issues along with chest discomfort. EKG showed no signs so Dr Olivier suggested a heart cath. test to look and see any issues not caught on EKG. He set up appointment at Ascension St Thomas West. I asked if we could do it at Midtown Hospital since it was closer. Saw Dr Olivier as a follow up from a stress test. He explained everything that was going on with options and recommended a cardiac MRI as opposed to a more evasive option. I was happy with the fact that he wanted to explore all options before rushing into a treatment that might not be necessary.
All of my visits have been thorough. However, the first time I met him was right before I had 4 stents inserted in my heart. I was 99.7% blocked in all of the major cardiac arteries. He sent me to the cardiac cath lab at Summit, and the next thing I knew was that I was in an ambulance to St. Thomas West. A similar incident happened a month later. He was right on top of my care. That’s more than I can say about several other docs I’ve seen at Summit.
Dr. Olivier is a thorough, caring physician. He did not hurry the appt. As a new patient, he read my past records and explained in detail test results from a previous cardiologist that were NEVER discussed with me! I was very thankful for the enlightening information. I would highly recommend him. His staff is great as well.
My first visit was assuring we would test to find out the reasons I needed a cardiologist. Felt very comfortable with Dr Olivier. His staff was very kind.
