The kind of corner hardware store that makes you glad to live in Chicago. I received immediate and patient assistance for my project. Also a cool selection of products for DIYers, gardeners, and crafters. Forget about the box stores and do yourself and your community a favor! Extra points for going to a place and not having to search down an employee who may or may not he able to help you. This is what a hardware store should be.
Seemed really helpful at first, but the experience quickly turned rude and condescending! The person helping me wasn't interested in helping me, but seemed keen on talking over me, like I was 10 year old child! I will never go back, I now shop At ACE Lakeview, a completely different experience, with super helpful staff.
I have gotten keys made here twice and they were perfect. May not seem like a big deal but prior to my first visit here, I had keys made at two other shops and neither set worked?
