Just had another bad experience with ******** Mechanical - I should have learned from the first experience. They are rude (owner and his wife yelling at me on speaker phone together) and inexperienced in diagnosing and resolving gas fireplace issues. This time, after paying them $700 for a new ignition, the fireplace did not work after they left the house and they claim I must have done something to it because it worked when they were there, but they can fix it for another $400. We had a good experience with ********** over a Washer/Dryer issue, so we contacted them to fix our AC unit and Heating system.What resulted were several service calls and pricey replacements ($657.72 paid in total) over the following months, just to end up where we started. We called another place and it was fixed in 1 short visit (wiring setup had to be redone).
Scheduling w/ Kathy was easy, she is very personable and worked w/ my schedule. Jesse and Dan arrived right on time. They were thorough and educated me on what they were doing and shared home maintenance tips. I would work w/ them again and recommend their services.
