We really hit the jackpot when we decided to have the * Anderson Insulation company upgrade our insulation! After removing our old insulation, he found air ducts that were only partially connected to vents. Wed been air conditioning the attic! Once he sealed those vents, we immediately noticed a reduction in drafts in the house and this was before he applied spray on foam. We recently had the fiberglass insulation in our attic replaced by Jay Anderson Insulation Co. of Belleville, IL. What prompted this was a significant mice infestation. After he vacuumed out the old insulation, Mr. ******** (1) repaired some return vent issues, (2) sprayed a foam sealer throughout the entire attic area to cover areas of air loss and rodent entrances, and finally, (3) sprayed an R50 thickness of cellulose insulation. I cannot recommend Jay and his crew enough. We have a 100 year-old house and have struggled with cold floors and cold temps in the kitchen ever since we moved in three years ago. Considering that's the area where we spend the majority of our family time, the issue was problematic. We've tried every solution, from expensive HVAC systems to minor air-sealing and patchwork, but nothing seemed to fix the issue. We originally called Jay to help with the cold floors. Fantastic job. Great experience. Jay drove down one evening to take a look at the issue we were having and walked me through what he was looking at and answered all my questions. He pointed out other issues we did not realize were even going on. He scheduled us in right away. His team was very punctual and professional. They cleaned up at the end of everyday.
