We checked out several assisted living places when choosing a place for dear ol' Dad and Laurel Cove stood well over the others. Everyone here is caring and kind, and really motivated by helping people live comfortably in a time that can be quite uncomfortable.

I visit my parents weekly at Laurel Cove. Objectively, nothing about memory care is fun, but I commend the staff for constantly being engaged and attentive; they do a phenomenal job of keeping the residents comfortable and safe. My dad recently moved from memory care to assisted living, and that change has been great for him! Thanks to the LC management for recognizing that need, and facilitating his move! All in all, I'm very satisfied.

The very best part of being at Laurel Cove is the human interactions with those that are employed there. Specifically, Josh, Sally, Meghan, Jackie, Larry, Eva, Domenica, Mimi, Anne, Zeleka, Matthew, Augie, Crissy, Adonnes, Anita, Florence, Alea, Samantha, Zelalem, Ti Anne, Stephanie, Faye, and Leti are all superstars in their own right. They are what makes Larel Cove and Encore Communities shine.

Things might've changed since I've been here, but after a lot of thought I decided to come out with my experience because it's worth addressing. After my first few days of being here I could already tell how dysfunctional the environment was; people calling out every other day or just not bothering to show up, MC always being short, everyone being disgruntled and unhappy etc. The training is awful.
