The very best part of being at Laurel Cove is the human interactions with those that are employed there. Specifically, Josh, Sally, Meghan, Jackie, Larry, Eva, Domenica, Mimi, Anne, Zeleka, Matthew, Augie, Crissy, Adonnes, Anita, Florence, Alea, Samantha, Zelalem, Ti Anne, Stephanie, Faye, and Leti are all superstars in their own right. They are what makes Larel Cove and Encore Communities shine.
Things might've changed since I've been here, but after a lot of thought I decided to come out with my experience because it's worth addressing. After my first few days of being here I could already tell how dysfunctional the environment was; people calling out every other day or just not bothering to show up, MC always being short, everyone being disgruntled and unhappy etc. The training is awful. I want to praise the Activity Director, Maria Fe Bernaldo . I met her in May 2024. She was kind, caring and thoughtful with the residents. My sister is a resident there. She loves her!
The activities are so engaging as is evident to my deaf mother. Thank you Fay and all the staff.
