My mom has lived at Laurel Cove for approximately three years. She has been well cared-for and really doesn't want to be anywhere else. She has made some friends there - extra important at 95 when family and friends are fading away. Her husband and daughter have confidence that she is looked after and content.
My father has been living at Laurel Cove, and our experience has been solid and dependable. This is a mid range senior community — not the ultra luxury tier with massive buy ins — but it offers good care, a clean environment, and a steady routine. The building is well maintained, the carpets and common areas are kept clean, and the overall atmosphere feels orderly. I have lived here for 6 months. After living in care homes from California to Florida and now Washington, I can truly state. Laurel Cove is the best! Kailey, Andrea, as well as everyone else I deal with are so gentle and caring. I have a paralyzed leg. I have finally been able to completely dress myself. The office and kitchen staff are also top notch. They take everyone's needs and wants into consideration as much as possible. The Laurel Cove Community, which includes the full staff, are amazing. It’s a warm and friendly environment and I am so grateful we found this community for our mom and stepdad. They always have our folks best interest in the forefront of every decision that needs to be made.
Unfortunately, I had to move both of my parents to memory care very suddenly. The staff who helped facilitate the move were so kind and empathetic. It’s a huge change for families and they assured me everything would be ok. I visit my parents 2 to 3 times a week and I know they are in good hands. There are a lot of families are not able to visit, but I can see how kind and patient the staff is and my parents and they are very, very happy. They would let me know if they were not.
