Awesome guys to work with, very friendly. I had work done on a vortec 350 at another shop & I should've gone to these guys to begin with. They fixed a buggered cam & bearing for me & got my engine back on track for reassembly, great prices too. These hacks did 5 engines for us right in a row. Every one of them had to be rebuilt before the first 100 miles. The last one they did needs to be rebuilt for the 3rd time. Absolutely didn’t trust them, so took the 3rd time rebuilt engine apart before spending all the money to install it yet again; and it was a disaster. Assembled COMPLETELY DRY!! No oil or lube on ANYTHING. Rings, pistons and walls, valve train; cam bearings… No oil or lube anywhere and no sealant on the head bolts either! The engine went back the first tim... read more
I sent a 4.7 L Jeep Cherokee motor to be rebuilt by them in a June of 2023. They finished the rebuild later the same month. I am not a full time mechanic, I had help from a good friend of mine that is a mechanic who would work with me on Saturdays. We spent ten weeks trying to get the motor started. 11/10 would recommend! These guys are efficient and fair on pricing. I got my block bored out and resurfaced after a catastrophic piston detonation failure and they had it looking like new! Also had my crankshaft balanced and cylinder head resurfaced and vacuum tested for my 1.8 Miata. Only issue I had was my fault- I'm used to metric sizing and they use standard so I was a bit confused at first. Definitely recommend giving these guys a shot for any motor needs!
