Trekked the W in Patagonia and Daisy took such good care of us! 4 vegetarians - 2 vegan and all our needs were taken care of! We had the most amazing time... there just are no words to describe it. Daisy made sure our accommodations were all taken care of as well as our transportation...she really didn't miss anything!! We had wonderful guides on the trek who really helped to make the trip memorable!
Unfortunately these guys are all about that deposit and cashing in. As active duty military, I had a mandatory training come up just a few weeks after I had planned to make the trek. I called and spoke with the office, and disappointingly, they would not budge on the deposit. I was not asking for a full refund, but only a smaller portion to help out, but they would not make any consideration. I am extremely disappointed in the team at Andean treks. Andean Treks far exceeded my expectations for this trip. Our guide, Jesus, was very knowledgeable on the history of the trail and was patient and accommodating to all of our different hiking speeds. Our porters were genuinely so happy to help us out and had our tents set up (with buckets of hot water outside them to wash up) by time we got to camp. Lastly, THE FOOD! We just got back from our trip to Peru. It was amazing and everything went smoothly. I owe much thanks to Daisy for her patience and help during the planning process. Our trek crew to Choquequirao was top notch, from our guide Vladimir, to the mule drivers Tebu and his son Edwin, to the cooks Benny and Valentin. They were all incredibly hard working and great to be around. We couldn't have had a better experience.
