Back in the day! Our first apartment when I married my boys mom. I lived here (I believe it was Apartment 8 upstairs) from 1996 to 2002. Peter Gorczok, originally from Stuttgart, Germany by way of California, was the owner and my wife and I ended up becoming the managers. Lots of good times and a lot of drama. My wife and I helped put all of that gravel down behind the apartment building. I got heat exhaustion that day! This was a good apartment building back then. Lots of good memories there.
I love living here. It’s located right next to Riverdale park! There’s an entrance to the park from the complex. The property management company is very helpful and responsive to all my needs. If there’s a maintenance issue they are on top of it, sometimes the day of me reaching out. The living room and kitchen space is very open and homey. Me and my fiancé had a tour scheduled. We got there and waited 20 minuets for someone to tell us a unit number or the passcode to get in. No answers or replies. Very unprofessional.
I have always had an amazing experience with the maintenance man, Brad. He is always on time and always goes above and beyond for me. He is very kind and patient and always has a solution to any problem i might be having with maintenance issue. He is the best!
I really enjoyed my time living at Ancora Apartments! My hands down favorite thing about Ancora was the Park literally next door! This park is pretty giant, and provides a great place to relax, go running, play sports, or walk the trails. And it is a 10-30 second walk from the apartments :) best benefit Ive ever had at any apartment- having a park as your back yard!
