I started seeing Dr. Tan about a problem that I have had for 2 years in which 2 gastroenterologists and 1 internist have not been able to diagnose or treat after 2 treatments from Dr. Tan I have had no pain. He has a warm bedside manner which makes me feel very comfortable. He is very professional and I would recommend him to my family and friends.
I have been having some chronic lower back pain and was recommended by a friend to go see Dr. Tan. I had never had acupuncture before and -- to be honest -- somewhat skeptical. However, even after the first visit I felt my back muscles were no longer as tight. I had three more weekly sessions and my pain now is almost entirely gone (knock wood!). I started seeing Dr. Tan in early March 2016 for help with fertility and anxiety/stress management. He is very prompt and courteous during each appointment. He was able to identify my problems after just taking my pulse and looking at my tongue, which was very impressive. I have been seeing him for weekly acupuncture treatments, and he is always on time. Dr. Tan is a welcoming, kind, caring, effective doctor. He is wonderful about answering questions and providing practical advice. I have been going to Dr. Tan for almost one year now for anxiety management and the treatment has been very successful. I highly recommend Dr. Tan.
Dr. Tan was wonderful and so intuitive to my issues, all based on his findings through my pulse and tongue. The accupuncture was the and painfree. I'm looking forward to my session next week.
Dr. Tan is amazing. I have used physical therapy, shots, and surgery for back issues. Dr. Tan's treatment has give complete relief for the firsr time in years. The treatments are drug free and include massage. For acupuncture, you don't feel when needles are used. Dr. Tan asks a lot of questions up front and then is very methodical. Dr. Tan gets results in 1-2 treatments unlike others that need dozens of visits. Chinese medicine is amazing.
Dr. Tan, I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for seeing me last Wed and providing relief for my lower back. Since your treatment I've not experienced any more muscle spasms or any sharp pain. I'm still a little stiff in the mornings but that gose away quickly once I'm up and moving around. Dr. Tan is the best doctor and has helped me tremendously! Prior to finding his clinic, I had been to two other acupuncturists in Frederick (one of which was a doctor of Chinese medicine) with no improvement. I have suffered from fibromyalgia, CFS, autoimmune disease and endometriosis for years and have been to many specialists who were unable to help me. My wife thought she would lose her mobility forever when suffering from sharp pain in lower back area. But after two clinic visits with Dr. Tan, my wife recovered so well. Other than his medical skills Dr. Tan is very personable. I am also Dr. Tan's patient and receive great benefits from his therapy - No medications and No side effects - that's what we appreciate the most!!
